The White Cement Reception Counter is fabricated with Wilsonart white cement laminate on the body and a white solid surface top, a combination that reads as honed concrete without the maintenance cost of poured concrete and without the weight that real cement carries into a retail setting.

At 78″ wide by 26″ deep by 42″ tall, this is the largest and tallest reception counter in the WW Displays line. The 42″ height puts it at bar-top height, ideal for standing brides at check-in and standing consultants on the working side. It is built to order in Illinois on CNC equipment and ships on a pallet.

Frequently asked questions

Is this real concrete?
No, and that is deliberate. The body is fabricated in Wilsonart white cement laminate, a high-pressure laminate laid up on strong 1/2″ panels that gives the visual texture of honed concrete. The top is white solid surface. Together they read like cement at a glance without the sealing, re-waxing, hairline cracking, and porosity that real poured concrete brings into a retail environment.
Why does it cost so much more than the Classic White Reception Counter?
Three reasons. First, materials. Wilsonart cement laminate and a solid surface top are premium finishes versus a plain white body. Second, size. At 78″ wide and 42″ tall it is the biggest counter in the line and uses more substrate and more labor. Third, the two tier element of a counter client facing and desk work surface stylist facing.
How does it compare to the White Oak and Marble counter?
Both are luxe at $4K to $6K with a two-tier bar-top-front, desk-height-back design. Designed with different materials for different aesthetics but both provide a built-in locking cabinet plus shelves.  Pick White Oak and Marble for a warm, natural-material entry. Pick White Cement for a colder, modern, gallery-look entry.
How tall is it and is that comfortable?
42″ tall. That is standard bar height. It is taller than a desk for a reason. At reception you greet brides who are standing, walking in, often in a coat or carrying a bag. 42″ puts the working surface where a standing bride naturally rests a hand or sets her phone, and gives the consultant on the back side good ergonomics for standing greetings.
Does it include storage, drawers, or a locking cabinet?
Each counter is designed with different specs for drawers, cabinets, leg room etc. Let WW Displays know what your specific needs are to modify the counter to fit your specific needs.
Does it ship with an electrical pass-through for a POS or card reader?
Electric pass throughs are typically on the desk height areas of all counters. If you need one on the counter height surface let WW Displays know at time of purchase.
How does the solid surface top hold up to daily salon use?
Solid surface (think Corian-class material) is non-porous, does not stain like cement or marble, and can be buffed or refinished if a fitter sets a hot coffee or a metal hanger on it. That repairability is one of the reasons this counter is priced at the top of the line, even though the laminate body looks like cement.

Yes. All counters are made to order. Request a quote if you need different width, depth, or height. The 78″ footprint is the widest standard size.
